Elgato video capture on quicktime?

Hi!

I would like to know if is any way to capture in quicktime "recording new video" using elgato video converter (without use elgato software)

I really don't like the elgato software becouse the quicktime compression is very hi and I lost a lot of quality.

I been using a cheap video capture device that is recognized by Quicktime like video source, but I had problems when I capturing with sound. But the image quality was too much better.

is there any Quicktime component to use this device without software. Also I am interesting to use this device like a video source in softwares like Lumen or Resolume Arena.
