Facebook Share Extension Missing in Mojave
After upgrading to Mojave, the Facebook share option has vanished in the Sharing menu and is not available to add under "More." How do I get back this capability?

That is intentional. Apple removed the share options to share from Photos to social media on Mojave.
To share photos on Facebook, open Facebook in your Web Browser, then use the Media Browser to upload albums from your Photos Library to Facebook.

In Safari, on the Facebook page, select to upload photos.
In the file chooser dialog that will open, scroll down all the way, until the section "Media" appears in the sidebar. Click the camera icon to select the Media Browser for photos. Then click the Photos Library and wait, until your albums appear. The first time it may take a while.
I dragged https://www.facebook.com/sharer.php to my bookmarks bar. I just click on that and it posts the item to Facebook.
Great. that it is working for you 🙂
There are many panes in MacOS X and Photos, where it is not obvious, that we are supposed to scroll the pane to reveal more items. That is why I have changed the System Preferences > General, so that scrollbars are always visible, even when I am using my trackpad and not the mouse.
And the "Jump to the Spot that is clicked" helps to get with one click into the scroll bar to the end of the Photos view. This makes scrolling thousands of photos easy.
No, Facebook does not have access to your computer. You still have to select and upload the items you want to share to Facebook. But you are using the Media Browser to view your Photos Library. It is much safer than it used to be in iPhoto or Aperture, where your Facebook albums have been syncing with your photo library.
What do you mean by the Media Browser?
Thanks!
What a crock. So, no way to share anything on Safari to Facebook? Sounds like Safari has become dust to Mel
Thanks! I never would have thought to scroll past where the normal items.
So now Facebook is going to have access to any photo on my computer? What if you want to share a .pdf file or document to facebook?
How in the world does anyone post a news item with Safari such as a news article from USA Today like everyone else can? Screw the photo crap.
OK I got that on my bookmarks bar but have to copy and enter the URL. Life is brutish! Thanks.
Far inferior, and I have been waiting a very long time with nothing showing up. Why?
