Keychain and Passwords disappeared

Hi

My passwords have disappeared..they are not showing in keychain access either.

I have signed out of iCloud and then signed in again making sure that keychain is ticked.

They are working on my iPhone but not the mac. Earlier today the mac also forgot my login when i rebooted and i had to set a new password. User names and passwords is ticked and when i click edit and enter my login the pane is blank. How long would iCloud take to repopulate the passwords or should i be more worried that i have been hacked.

Thanks for your reply.

I realised that all passwords must have disappeared when I uninstalled clean my Mac. Nuff said about that.

I managed to get them back onto the Mac by turning off keychain on my iPhone and then turning it back on to resync. Don’t know why doing that on the Mac does not work.
