Why does apple launch bugs into old phones? Isn't it lame to force user to upgrade.

My main daily driver is my reliable oneplus but got an iPhone as a secondary device, the issues it's been giving me is very annoying.

iPhone 5s has been having issues since ios11 update, phone goes into recovery mode or turns off for no reason with battery full.

And as it seems apple’s taken away the possibility to downgrade the ios- so if anybody has any other good tips or tricks that have worked I’d be happy to hear. this definitely is a software bug, found very little info about this googling, but the little info I found showed that many seem to have problems after this upgrade with these things.

If it is going into recovery that often, it probably has a hardware problem. I suggest you call your local Apple Store and make an appointment for them to examine it. Afterwards they will tell you your alternative. Apple will do that examination for free.
