iPhone Xs Max Heat Issue

hi ,

actually i checked with this issue around 8 to 10 XS max users , all of them having the same issue, so i keep quit 🙂..feel common issue for all 🙂

So how does one figure out which apps are rogue and are the only solutions to that to uninstall it or just deal with it?

For some strange reason, mine stopped heating up, regardless of usage and apps. Weird but appreciated.

Yes , apple have to come to find a solution of it .

My phone getting so hot .

We all have to come together to display this issue to apple .

Yes i have Xs max 512 gb, wich ive just bought and ive noticed that it tends to heat up the back near camera when im updating all my apps or if gaming

Devices do not require an ice pack.

What's happening here is people feel that the devices are getting too warm.

If the device actually gets too warm it will shut itself down to protect itself.

I guarantee it will run hotter than an iPhone 5 for a number of reasons:

• It has a much faster CPU
• it has a much larger screen
• It has two cameras that are on simultaneously
• it has an OLED screen rather than lcd
• It has a higher a screen with more pixels-each pixel generates some heat
• it has a faster graphics processor

It is not an issue. It is normal for any device to get warm when it is doing stuff, and the XS Max has a much faster processor and video chip that requires more energy than previous phones, so it will be warmer than previous phones.

You keep using the word "issue". It is not an issue. It is a normal part of life for any electronics device to get warm when being used, and warmer when doing something compute intensive. Every iPhone XS will get warm under some circumstances and modes of usage. if this bothers you return the phone, because every phone of the same model will have the same characteristic, as I posted earlier, along with the reasons it is different from other models.

mine had it today for the first time

checked batrery info and the PvZ (plants vs zombies) was the cause

it drains battery for 20% in few minutes

After i closed it, everything is ok now

Probably when anybody finds these symptoms should check Battery Info in Settings to find out if any app is doing this harm

That’s not correct. The display dims in two steps as the device heats, its drastic, eventually reducing brightness to about 10%. No settings will change this, it’s heat related. I’ve gone through Apple escalated support for this, They termed it “heat throttling” And try to explain it as a feature, not a bug. But they admit the underlying cause requires a software patch.

Never gets to the point of shutting down the device, but it renders it useless (unviewable), especially in daylight.,

Whatsapp and facebook taking more battery ( facebook 31% and whatsapp 30%) remain all application 5 %

Can we reduce facbook and whatspp battery usage by some setting in iphone, kindly advice

Because other models don't have OLED screens, which require more energy, and they don't have the faster and more powerful graphics processor or faster and more powerful CPU.
