I am having trouble to install anti virus, such Kasperski or Sophos. The system is telling me that the extension was blocked. I clicked "allow" under Privacy and security, but nothing happened. I was not able to load Kasperski. Sophos is telling me that the "computer is vulnerable" . I uninstalled the programs, and tried again, but now I don't see the "allow button" at all. Any ideas what to do?

Count yourself lucky. The worst thing you can install on your Mac are antivirus programs. They are not needed, they slow performance and some are know to damage the OS. The next worst thing are cleaning programs such as CleanMyMac.
You're welcome. Since I would never, ever… never install Sophos nor Kaspersky software I can't say why or if they're trusted. Speaking of, Kaspersky was banned by the US Government and the EU was considering it. I don't know what the EU decided.

No, not to viruses. There are no known viruses for Macs.
There are adware, malware and trojans but those all require help from the user to get installed.
