Order missed delivery shipped back to shipper

So I was supposed to receive my iPhone xs on Friday but it never came when I checked tracking it said missed delivery and than an hour later it said shipping back to shipper.


So my item is being sent back to Apple I’m wondering will they send it back out again once they receive it or what??


Anyone know if I’d be able to choose to pick it up in store?
