Order missed delivery shipped back to shipper

So I was supposed to receive my iPhone xs on Friday but it never came when I checked tracking it said missed delivery and than an hour later it said shipping back to shipper.

So my item is being sent back to Apple I’m wondering will they send it back out again once they receive it or what??

Anyone know if I’d be able to choose to pick it up in store?

iPhone 12 Pro Max Shipment Delay I ordered my IPhone on December 19th and it said that the estimated shipment date was January 13th-20th, and that has never changed. My question is that it has said for many days at least(that I’ve noticed) and paraphrasing, We have everything we need to complete and prepare your order and will get back to you about shipping as soon as that happens. iPhone 12 Pro Max Shipment So I ordered the 12 PM on Nov 18th and it’s supposed to be here anywhere between the 7th to the 16th of Dec. it’s currently the 5th of Dec and it’s STILL in processing. I haven’t been charged, it hasn’t moved to preparing to ship, it’s just in processing. No updates or anything. Is there still a possibility it could arrive this week or am I outta luck and have to wait it out until next week? :/ Getting desperate seeing everyone else getting their phones that ordered after me. It’s the 128 gb gold one.

how many days after my order is ready to be picked up can i still get it? so my order is ready for pick up today a 5:00 pm to 5:15 pm, but something unexpected came up, so I will have to pick it some other day, most probably after 5-7 days. will my order be still there? or will apple cancel it and refund my money. honestly i do not want that, since it was so hard to find that ipad 9th gen in stock, so I really want it.
