I am trying to install Windows 10 pro on my early 2105 11" MacBook air with a SDD of 500GB and get the message when I try to start BCA that my start up disk does not have enough space . I have 400 GB free

You have five local snapshots. Post the output of
sudo tmutil listlocalsnapshots /
Notice the trailing "/" and the space before it.
