Looking for a rugged case for MacBook 12"

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good, rugged case for a 2017 MacBook 12" (A1534)? I see lots of cases for the 13" version, but none for the 12" except for hard cases which are great if you want to avoid scratches and such.

I'm looking for something that will protect it somewhat from being crushed by textbooks when thrown into a backpack.

Some of the manufacturers I've looked at so far that DO NOT carry anything for the 12": Gumdrop DropTech, Thule, Pelican (to be fair they do have a huge briefcase type thing but would like something smaller), Carbon Fiber Gear, i-Blason, and UAG.

Help me Mac folks!

The one I use for my 15-inch MBP is from Tech21.

Just so you know, those type of hard cases are usually called 'shell' cases.

Hey Richard - Many thanks for the info, but those are not what I'm looking for. I know what a shell case is but those have limited support for downward force.
