cancelled subscription, still charged

I needed a scanner for my phone only for one day. I downloaded Scanner for Me: Scan documents, but it was free only for 3 days. After 3 days it tried to take money from my card, but I did nit have money at that moment, so it could not. I immediately cancelled subscription (On 2nd October). But it charged me today. Why?
