My HomePod today stopped starting up via hey Siri but will start with touch. Siri works once touch started and will turn off with hey Siri, what can I do? I have reset holding top and also deleted and reinstalled on Home App but still it will not start with hey Siri - I am lost for what to do?
Check that your volume is turned up. If you say "Hey Siri!" does the device respond with "Uh huh"? Commands should normally be issued with a slight pause between "Hey Siri" and the rest of the instruction. Do you have any other Siri enabled devices in the vicinity that could be trying to process the request instead? Does your HomePod have a good connection to Wi-Fi and the Internet. You could try re-positioning the device slightly.

Thanks for the tips, I have tried all of that, the light comes on briefly when you say hey Siri but goes off immediately without allowing further instructions!
The light comes on briefly when you say hey Siri and then goes off, I don’t get any eh-huh. WiFi seem fine at 20-30 mbps and other devises okay.
Should I refer to Apple as it’s only 3 months old.
Yes. If you've done the troubleshooting you can realistically do yourself with no joy then it is time to ask for help. Just checking, have you tried rebooting your router lately?
