Text Replacement in Mojave

I made the move to Mojave yesterday, and ever since, my text replacements in System Preferences aren't working. I can't find what could be missing. Any suggestions?

keyboard text substitution is lost after upgrade to Mojave Since upgrading to Mojave, all keyboard text replacement / substitution data has been lost (on Mac only).It is still available on my iPhone and iPad and works - not on my Mac. Text replacement not working in Catalina 10.15.4 Text replacement is not working. I went back into System preferences->keyboard->text and re-did my text replacements. Also, I made sure that each app's Edit->substitutions->text replacement was check marked. I tried restarting the computer too...so far nothing's worked. Any tips? Thank you,

System Preferences > Keyboard > Text I have a "Text Substitutions.plist" plist file full of shortcut to load and nothing happens (except for the box lights up and green + sign lights up) but none of the shortcuts load up. Import text replacements On the Mac where you want to import the text replacements, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Keyboard , then click Text. If you’re working in an app, you can also choose Edit > Substitutions > Show Substitutions, then click Text Preferences. Drag the Text Substitutions.plist file from its location to the Text pane.
