Why did I find a linked “unified card” with MY email account in my boyfriends contacts?

is he spying on my phone? I can’t seem to fully remove all my emails listed On his contact...plz educate me on the Apple ID invasion

I meant to say his contact listing in MY PHONE CONTACTS have MY EMAILS linked to him?! On my phone under his name in my contact app has all MY EMAIL ADDRESSES linked to HIS EMAILS?! I am only seeing this on MY PHONE

HE has come at me a couple times randomly accusing me of false bs based on past fb messages or texts IVE SENT from MY PHONE?!! Is HE spying this way? I don’t even know how his name is unified card with MY EMAIL INFO?!! Plz let me know how this happened or how unified card works?

Again a unified card is one that brings together 2 or more contacts.

If you are seeing your email addresses under his contact name that mean at some point, his contact on your iPhone, was unified with your contact card. This happened directly on your iPhone and it has nothing to do with him spying on you.

It may have been a simple mistake that it got unified. There is nothing nefarious about it.

If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the contact, you should see a list of contacts that have been linked or unified. If you tap edit on the top right corner of the screen, you can then remove the unified contact by tapping the ➖ icon next to it.

This will separate the contacts.

Yes I did that first thing but saw that it reappeared in more which I had to delete entire info for it not to be in that contact and many more. Was listed under my gmail address as name with his underneath then again my yahoo and gmail was under his name. Like I said, just trying to understand the logistics of United card purposes and the spying question was already obviously considered based on his random mention in his jealous words months after innocent conversations he couldn’t know without reading my private texts or emails etc.

just trying to figure out what is going on with my phone and his real insecure actions based on reading friends notes. I always had android until he pushed me to iPhone but I’m not familiar with this card United purpose. Wouldn’t worry if not for his random reference to somethings on my phone. Just trying to get some info, not sure why it’s being taken as anything but that. 🏼

As shown in photo I added, his contact info is under MY gmail contact and ALSO all my emails under his contact in other listings...more than one email and I was just asking HOW THIS COULD HAPPEN?! Spying was just mentioned bc of his random actions lately. Don’t let that word overcome the initial question plz

I'm not sure what you mean.

Why are you spying on his contacts?

A Unified card is just one that combines 2 or more contacts into a single entry for convenience.

He may you stored as a contact in more than one place. Like a contact in iCloud for you email address, and and contact in say his Gmail or maybe work email contact list for something else, and has just chosen to unify them into a single entry.

This has nothing to do with spying.

And that has been explained. At some point, quite possibly by accident, you told contacts that you and your boyfriend were the same person and your contacts should be linked. It's nothing more than an error. It doesn't mean anything else. Unlink the contacts using the instructions already provided.

The photo under my contact of his info says my email so I was wondering if all my emails are linked somehow? I never did this and DF is his info w MY email linked?! Does this explain?

Idris is correct. It's just an unintentional linking of contacts.

You can unlink them as described above.
