For Windows 10 in 32-bit version, the path is: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion
...Welcome back to the clouds 🙂

I also having the same issues after updating my Windows 10 .... This message comes out "iCloud for Windows requires Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (April 2018 Update) and earlier" and the after pressing OK another message comes out ie; "iCloud for Windows Installer Error"....at the end...cannot be install....please help...
Thank you, your solution worked. However, I still cannot use the photo feature. I keep getting 'iCloud Photo Library Cannot open database. Please restart windows.' Any thoughts on how to fix that issue? Nothing I have tried seemt to work. Thanks
Thanks and it almost worked. Installer went through the installation process but at the end stated that there was a problem and the program did not finish as expected. It then rolls back the installation. I tried running the installer as Administrator but it made no difference.
I've got this issue too. What are Apple doing about this. This is a deal breaker for me using Apple now as I've not had icloud for over 2 weeks now and no response from Apple from what I can see. Pure show from Apple as they must have known about this. As an end user how would I know that this would happen. I pay apple money each month and this happens. Not impressed. I can't get the workround working either.
Same here. Is a chance to have Apple communication ? À release date for an update ?

I just tried this advise just now........yes...it works......now I am able to install iCloud for Windows 10 with Ver 1809.

sleepyrider07's solution above works perfectly. If you've never used regedit, it might make you hesitant, but if you follow his instructions step by step, iCloud will work perfectly.
