Why the Sidebar on Apple News?

I believe this has been posted but just to re-iterate, I have an ipad air 2 always very happy with the news app, now Apple why have you forced us this sidebar or channel as i think it's called and uses up to 30% of the **** screen as you cannot turn it off?


Give us the ability to switch this off please. Whoever did this code needs a dunking 😉
