Apple Pay

"Apple Pay" in the link provided misleading information about PIN code. I don't understanding about PIN code. From the link provided I understood that need using device - "Apple Pay", if need enter PIN code. I understood that in the "Apple Pay" system I can find out the PIN code. It means that from "Apple Pay" can generated PIN code or "Apple Pay" can generated PIN code from card details, for example, can generated PIN from 16 digits card number and from 3 digits security code.

How is actually? Maybe "Apple" had in mind the use of the card, if payment system require enter PIN code?

I submit "Apple Pay" website:

If you need to choose Credit or Debit on the terminal, choose Credit. Depending on the store and transaction amount, you might need to sign a receipt or enter your PIN.

If you're paying with Apple Pay Cash in the United States, authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or a secure passcode.3 Some terminals may still request a PIN to complete any debit transaction. If prompted, just enter 0000 or any other four-digit code. (This is from "Apple" page).

But I don't understand about 0000 PIN code. It means that "Apple Pay" system can generated my PIN code? It means that information is not misleading?

Thank you.
