Exchange not prompting for password after reset.

I got the same problem after upgrading to IOS 12

We got a large number of staff using exchange on their phones, and all of them have the same issue

The phone does not prompt for the new password, it just displays an error at the bottom of the screen "Cannot Get Mail, The connection to the server failed"

The only way to rectify the problem is to go into settings, select the exchange mail account and manually type in the password

Same here, we have an online Exchange accounts. All of a sudden (2 to 3 days ago) I've had 6 users go under accounts in Settings the to Exchange to update there passwords. The prompts to change it are not there anymore.

I've been seeing this issue as of iOS 12.

I have a couple users on iOS 11 still and they aren't having this problem.
When the user changes their active directory password, the phone never prompts them saying the password is wrong.

The phone proceeds to spam the mail server with log on requests and bad passwords while never prompting the user on their phone.

Quite annoying to have to clear 100s of alarms in our security system each day for brute force attacks.

We have the same issue on iOS 12, 12.0.1, and 12.1. Very annoying to have to constantly remind our 50 or so iPhone user staff to manually enter their password under settings when they change their active directory password. It used to just prompt them to do so within a few hours for the past half decade+. I was hoping it would be fixed by 12.1 which was released yesterday, but no luck.

I work at a small MSP. Users who reset their passwords through office 365 are not being prompted to re-enter their password and there is no password field to change. Does anyone else have a solution for this yet?

I attempted myself to replicate the issue and never got prompted to enter my new exchange password.

As I mentioned above yesterday, the issue still exists under 12.1 for us. Who informed you that it should have been fixed in 12.1?
