pages numbers
is there a way to separate page numbers in 1 Pages document? Like make only page 2 onward be numbered, or have '1' start one the 'second' page?

Hi Emily,
Insert a section break at the end of the text on the first page.
Click in the text on the second page, then open the Document inspector and choose 'Section'.
Click the "Match previous section" box to uncheck it.
Move the mouse to the top of the page (or the bottom) and click in the section of the Heder (or of the Footer) where you want the page number to be placed.
Click the Insert Page number tab that appears, then choose the format you want to insert.
The inspector panel will change. The pop-up menu showing Insert Page Number will now one of several choices for format of the page number, and below that, a new item will appear offering a choice of continuing page numbering from the previous section or starting (at your choice of number) anew.
Click the radio button beside Start at: 1
to start page numbering at 1 on this page.
Regards,
Barry
PS: If you prefer to have the numbering continue (with this page numbered 2, and no number showing on the first page), then, after unchecking the Match previous section box, got to Page 1 and delete the page number from that page. Leave the radio button beside 'Continue from previous section' chosen.
