Why can I not play certain music I have downloaded beforehand?

I just bought Apple Music about an hour back, and I'm operating on an Android Device.

I have downloaded MP3 versions of songs a while back, and still have them on my phone. They show up in the music library, but when I click on them to play them, it says, "X song is no longer available in Apple Msuic in your country or territory".

I would like to play my old, previously downloaded songs in addition to the new ones I plan to download via Apple Music.

Some purchased music plays only on Mac, not on iPad nor iPhone Hello! I own music that is available and will play on my Mac, but not on my iPhone or iPad. The titles show up on the iOS devices, but are grayed out. There is an icon of a cloud next to the play time for each of these titles. If I attempt to play one of these, I receive a message that the “song is not synced across [my] devices”. It instructs me to select Sync Library in Apple Music on my Mac. However, Sync Library is already selected. Any advice, please?

Music on iPhone I downloaded part of my music library from my iMac to my iPhone 8. When I tried to play some of my music on the iPhone, several songs are dimmed-out and a pop-up screen states, "This song is not currently available in your country or region." It plays just fine on my iMac so what the heck is going on?
