Can you tell me how you fixed it. I'm having a similar issue where Touch ID no longer works after upgrading to iOS 12.0.1. I've tried everything in the support page. I took it into the Genius Bar and we tried resetting all settings / erasing all content & settings, but still not working.

Me too, all of a sudden Touch ID doesn’t work. I’ve followed every online directive and still nothing. The home button works always, the Touch ID very sporadic.
