Try killing the app and reloading it. Load the Measure app, then press HOME. While viewing the home screen double-press the HOME button and swipe up on the Measure screen image to kill it, then press HOME again. If that doesn't fix it kill it again, then restart your phone: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
It does show up, but you may need to scroll the screen images to find it. The best thing to do is to find the app and drag it to a convenient location. It's somewhere on some page of your Home screen, or in a folder. When you use searchlight to find it if it is in a folder the name of the folder will be displayed next to it. If not in a folder just scroll through the Home screen pages until you find it.
I haven't found much use for it. What do you intend to do with it?
I've used it a few times. Once to measure a picture to get a frame for it. Also to measure a rug and a wall section for hanging the picture.
Sounds good for the rug but I'd probably use a tape for the picture.
Measure distances between jumping fences for my horse.
Now that's a perfect usage. A heck of a lot easier than a tape.
I can only find the app with the searchlight function
Yes indeedy.
Actually, when I load it from the searchlight, it doesn't show up when I double-tap the home button.
The Level function works nicely.
Cooties for sure...
It’s under “applications “??
Look for a folder named "applications"
No such item. Sigh...
HA! I restarted my phone and now the measure app isn’t even findable by Searchlight.
Oh well, off to the App Store
