iPhone 8 the phone app freezes

I have an iPhone 8 and it will freeze only in the phone app. It will not let me do anything in the phone app. I can ask Siri to call and call go in the contacts and dial from there. Once I restart my phone it will work.

Phone app freezing on iPhone XS The phone app on iPhone XS keeps freezing. Sometimes it will work after 15 seconds of being frozen, other times I need to close the app or restart the phone. I have deleted all the visual voicemail as suggested on other threads but this hasn't helped. It is on 13.6.1.
