I recently bought an Iphone Xs. The personal hotspot is discoverable in my phone and the settings are filled in as per the carrier. However, the devices I connect to using hotspot WIFI give an authentication error even though the password is correct. Did everything from resetting the network connections, force restart, installing the correct carrier settings etc. but it fails to connect to other devices.

I did contact the service provider and they confirmed that the plan is activated and also provide the required information for enabling the hotpot, APN, username etc. I can now also see my phone reflecting on other devices like laptop and other phones, however, it still does not connect to any of them. Not sure if there is something extra that needs to done.
