Disabled plugins in Safari 12

I discovered too late that Safari 12 disabled developer-signed plugins. This removed my ability to use Safari to connect to my security camera DVR from my Mac using autonat.com, and much research has found no solution. There are several security camera Safari extensions in the Apple store but they have abysmal reviews, and probably don't apply to my system anyway. The only workaround I can think of is to restore my system to a date before Safari 12 was released, and then disable automatic updates to the MacOS. That is very undesirable. I tried other browsers from the Apple store with no luck. Also I can't figure out who the DVR developer is to ask for help. The "Superlive Plus" app works fine for seeing the cameras on my iphone, and it's frustrating that I can't make anything work on the Mac. I don't suppose anyone else has worked on this issue? I sent a message to Apple about it.

I am trying to contact the DVR maker (in china). How is this not a problem caused by Apple? Everything worked fine until Apple released Safari 12. I am not an IT professional, and did not see any warning that Safari 12 would disable all developer-signed plugins. I realize that developers should be on top of this; all I know is that my expensive camera system is all but useless after a Safari upgrade that I didn't ask for.
