I recently bought a pair of AirPods. They connect seamlessly to my iPhone 8+, my iPad Mini 4, and my series 1 Apple Watch. But I have found that they refuse to connect to my MacBook Pro. It is a 13-Inch, Mid-2012 model running OS Mojave. I'm thinking they won't connect because it's an older MacBook, but I'm hoping that's not the reason. Any information is greatly appreciated.

I have AirPods and I also have a mid-2012 MBP and they connect fine. When I open the lid, I simply look in the bluetooth settings and they appear there. I will then have to manually click on the link in order for them to connect.

Did they ever connect to your MBP? I noticed that when I upgraded to Mojave I could not connect to my AirPods until I "forgot" them from the bluetooth menu and then reconnected them.

So, I'm assuming that you don't have any other issues connecting your bluetooth to anything else. I have found this article online; however, I have never tried it myself, but it's not going to hurt to give it a try.

I have tried that, and they still won't connect. Every time I try I get the cannot connect message
