FCPX, Is possible to remove a object in the background while someone is moving in front of it?

I want to remove a wall outlet from a video, but the subject walks in front of the outlet a couple of times. I tried using SliceX object remove but each time the subject walks pass the outline, it walks behind the mask where it exposes the object removal shape. Any suggestions?

I was wondering if you can use Final Cut Pro to cut out an object? For example: say you are green-screening someone, and you put them against a background. Great - chroma key to remove green from the video. But, say that you want them to be walking along, and something on the background video is supposed to be on top of them - can you cut out that object, and move it above the layer that is the person? I have no idea if that makes any sense, but that's my question! I can try to clarify if you cannot figure out what I am saying! ;) Thank you very much!! :D

Final Cut Pro Control Issue Hi All, if you look at the attached picture you will see a red box inside a white box next to the head of the person being filmed. I get this while editing and for the life of me can not remove it. I suspect that there is a simple toggle or switch. The red square allows the user to move around the screen for no real apparent outcome. This small but irritating issue does not export in the final movie. Anyone know how to switch it off please? Final Cut Pro Whenever I am editing a video in final cut pro and i want to crop, transform, or distort, it works the first few times. then when i go back to click on either one of them, the icon is highlighted but there are not controls along the side so i can crop or transform. this has been happening for the longest time and if someone could please help me out, that'd be amazing. i'm sick of having to work around this technical difficulty!!

When something blocks an object you're tracking the technical term is "Occlusion" and the Coremelt tools can handle that.

Here's a tutorial that goes over when you loose track on an object and how to recover it when one object gets in front of what you're tracking.
