how do i fix this appstore problem?

i have a problem with the appstore where every time i try updating an app it asks me to verify my billing info and when i go do that and click done the same thing pops up again and it does it over and over, i had a credit card connected to my apple pay and before i removed it it was doing that and its continued after i removed it.
