Isof at 99% CPU for not logged-in user

Hi,

sorry if this is the wrong forum - I just have no clue where to ask this ...

For the past two days the fan on my new MBP runs more often than usual.
Looking at Activity Monior there's a process called "Isof" (don't know if it's a lower case "L" or an upper case "i" at the beginning) that runs between 96 and 99% CPU for an existing but not logged-in user account.
It uses a tiny amount of real and virtual memory but keeps staying at the top of CPU usage.

What is Isof and what causes it to run ?
Easy terms please (I do not know anything about UNIX).

Thanks or any pointers.
chris

Zerwas,

thanks alot, the Mac is back to normal now.

Lsof is an process, that show open processes and
files. This is not an systemprocess, so you can kill
it. Normal you use lsof for monitoring. With an
argument, it run as loop until to quit.

So is it some kind of bad programming/bad code of an application ?
I wonder, because I never had this behaviour before (heavy Mac user for many years).
