World of Warcraft : TBC

i recently bought The Burning Crusade Expansion of World of Warcraft. I attempted to install it, but i got the error message:

Application Launch Failure
The application "Installer" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "8<InstallerLauncher><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CoreFoundation>"

can anyone make some sense of that or offer a solution ?

System Specs:
imac g5
mac osx 10.4.8
proccessor: 2 ghz powerpc g5
memory: 512 mb ddr sdram

Thanks for your help

I tryed the CD's and a download; they both gave the exact same error message when i tried to install. I imagine that whatever that shared library thing is, there are probably some errors involving it with other applications, so if you can't answer to my exact circumstance, any information about any of the stuff in the error message would be greatly appreciated

i had the same problem when i first bought WoW. when you see the installer menu for the game, and it asks you where you want to install it, just keep it in the apps. folder. once it's installed you can move it, but for the initial install it MUST be in the applications folder. this should be the default anyways.
