Why do I have to keep putting my password for iTunes when I update my games?

After updating to iOS 12 for some reason it keeps asking me for my iTunes password but I have it set up for my fingerprint. And I can’t seem to find any settings or anything anymore.

See Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad - Apple Support. It may help to turn off the option to use your fingerprint for purchases, then turn it back on.
