Upgrade to Sierra
Do I have to upgrade to El Capitan from Yosemite 10.10.5 before I can upgrade to Sierra/High Sierra?
Thank you!

Check to make sure your applications are compatible.
El Capitan 10.11 Compatibility information
macOS Sierra 10.12: Compatible Apps
Also check to make sure there is a compatible driver for your printer.
Do a backup before installing, preferable 2 backups on 2 different drives

Ok, I've got the backups covered but on the App Store page to upgrade when I click on the more info about Sierra/High Sierra it takes me to a page about Mojave. Is that just Apple pushing Mojave?
Will it upgrade me to Sierra on the App Store page regardless?
Last question, I keep getting a small upper right corner message window asking me if I want to upgrade to Mojave and I keep choosing not now since I haven't done the Sierra yet, I'm assuming I should upgrade to Sierra first?
Thank you!
No.

Ok thank you much!
You should upgrade to Mojave directly if your computer is compatible with it.

You don't need to upgrade to Sierra first.
