I just received my new iPhone 8 a month ago which is running iOS 12.0.1. Several times I've selected a song to wake up to with the alarm in the Clock App. However, no matter what I choose, I am still awoken by the dissonant sound of the Radar tone. Help... How can I fix this issue? This is like my 6th iPhone and I've never had this experience before.

When you click on the Alarm clock- click edit- delete alarms. Then add the alarms back in with the correct alarm sound you want, and click done.
And for the ‘bedtime’ alarm clock app click on
bedtime - options- wake up sound - and choose. Then click done.
If you have tried all of the above and still not working you can plug device into iTunes and put device in recovery mode, and when the pop up on iTunes shows up you can click on ‘update’ instead of ‘restore’ that way if there was any bugs in the software this will remove the software and replace it with new software without losing anything on your device.
