I am running Mac mos Mojave version 10.14 , I can't seem to delete apps at all , it says I don't have the right permissions to do so even though I am the admin.
the apps in question are NordVPN IKE and the old client.
also it says I don't have the administrative rights to install apps.

Does NordVPN have an uninstaller that you can run, or instructions on their website for proper removal? You may be butting up against System Integrity Protection (SIP) if NordVPN installed into protected locations in macOS.
Do you have an administrator account? System Preferences > Users & Groups.
