Random movies in quicktime?

I have an issue with quicktime. When I right-clicked quicktime a bunch of random movies popped up. They mostly ended with .avi and I cannot seem to click on them or watch the videos. The movies seemed to be names of something. I found out they were episodes of a tv show entourage. A show I've never heard of in my life and I can't search for the movies in finder. I'm running on macOS Mojave (no issues with mojave) version 10.14 macbook air 13-inch 2017. I'm a bit worried the movies are taking up space or it's some sort of virus. Any help would be nice.
