Why can't I access google websites?

All of the sudden I can't access the following sites in Safari on my Macbook:

maps.google.com

sheets.google.com

docs.google.com

It works fine on my iMac on the same home wifi. I've cleared cookies and restarted Safari with no changes. Any ideas on this?

Mystery solved. I use Little Snitch and over the past week apparently added some rules that block certain IPs. These went to certain google sites and youtube.com. I disabled Little Snitch and was able to access the above mentioned sites. I did a search on those domains in Little Snitch and deleted the corresponding rules. Now everything is working again.

Errors:

Safari can't connect to the server

Safari can't open the page [url] because it can't connect to the server [domain name]

Domain name = youtu.be or google.com from the sites mentioned in the OP.

I also get this error:

Safari can't open the page [url] because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait a few minutes and then try again.

What happens when you try? Error message(s)?

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.
