I just updated to Mojave on my iMac. I need to burn a CD for a client but the disk does not show up on the desktop. I get the dialog box asking what to do when I insert the disk but the image never appears and I can't find it. Disk Utility does see it, but I can't figure out how to burn files to the disk.
Mojave has a known bug in that it doesn't display blank disks. From what I've read here, you can still select a folder of files, right click it and choose to burn it.

Thanks. This does work. I also discovered that under <File> in Finder there is a "New Burn Folder" choice that puts a folder on the desktop that can then be used to move files into for burning. After the disk is burned, the image appears on the desktop with the newly assigned name.
