Don’t want Apple Watch as audio source for phone calls

I like to use speakerphone at home while on the phone but it is annoying when while trying to switch over to speakerphone I accidentally hit Apple Watch as my wanted source, especially when it is not on my wrist and charg in the other room. Is there a way to get it to not show up at all or am I just stuck?
