How long does it take to repair a phone?Does it take six weeks and do the service provider needs to update you regarding your status of product?

I had given my I phone x for repair and it's been now 6 weeks I haven't received my phone yet . Every time I Coll service center they Say next week

This is a user forum, not a place to contact Apple. If you sent the phone directly to Apple it should only take a few days (less than 1 week) for the repair. If you sent it to anyone else you will have to work with the place you sent it.
