aluminium wired keyboard died

I've seen that this problem has been posted a few times with no fix, but I thought I'd post anyway.

The keys on my Apple aluminium wired keyboard have stopped working, but the USB port on both sides still works.

Does anyone please have a fix?

Thanks

Dave

Welcome Dave,

The problem, as you may have likely discovered, is that a wired Al board cannot be opened up for service without destroying it.

The only thing short of a new board I can recommend is an SMC reset while the board is connected to the computer:

Sometimes a reset will help more things than listed in the article.
