Hello, I have pre ordered the iPhone XR & I have also ordered the Series 4 Apple watch. I am just looking to find out if the apple watch wireless charger would charge an iPhone XR wirelessly.

The Apple Watch does not come with a wireless charger. It comes with a magnetic charging cable, and a 5 watt power adapter.
The 5 watt power adapter, is identical to the one that comes with the iPhone XR.
If you bought a separate Qi charger for the Apple Watch, then it should also work with the iPhone XR yes.
If you mean the Magnetic Charger, that that only works for the Watch yes. As its not actually Qi wireless.
