Your screen could have a failing area.
Be sure that nothing (case, screen protector) can interfere with your touch screen. Should be this case, remove them.
If the issue still persists, have your iPhone checked at your most convenient Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider. After the inspection, they'll give you all the available options:
