Attempting to use Facetime on my 5yo Macbook Pro for the first time ever. Keep getting 'error ocurred during authentication'. Apple ID login correct. What's next?

Never mind. I have to turn off the Network Monitor security program for the Facetime login to work. I changed my password which is always a good thing.
