Macbook Pro 2018, all sound has suddenly gone....

So this morning, I opened my MacBook Pro 2018 to discover no sound from either the in-built speakers or headphones. I have had this less than two weeks from John Lewis and with no crackling or anything similar until now.

I am running macOS High Sierra, with a 2.6 GHz i7 processor, memory is 16GB 2400 MHz DDR4, and graphics are Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB.

Any thoughts, advice or to hear from any one else who has experienced this on a MacBook Pro 2018, would be most useful.

Thank you 🙂

MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018), iOS 10.3.3, 2.6 GHZ Intel Core i7

Try an NVRAM reset:

Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

Try resetting SMC:

How to reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac - Apple Support

If that doesn't work bring it back where you bought it. If you purchase from Apple you have 14 days to return the Mac for a full refund and 90 days of free telephone support. I have no idea what the store policy is.
