Just today with no changes to my MacBook Pro, all of the sudden there is no sound? I checked everything...even turned off my bluetooth to make sure it wasn't a headphone issue....nothing is working? Any ideas?

I restarted my computer and sound is back on...I should have done that first. Any idea why that happened? Is this a sign that I will have sound issues going forward?
Restart the computer and check the settings in Sound preferences. If no success, then: make an appointment at the Apple Genius Bar for service.
