iPad mini 3 no longer streaming content after iOS 12 update

Please help! I don't know if this is a widespread issue or just me, but ever since I've updated my iPad mini 3 to the newest iOS 12.0.1, I haven't been able to stream any video content from my Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video apps. I've made sure all of the apps are up-to-date. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?
