Problem with driver printer Samsung CLX-3185 on new OS X Mohave

According to this Samsung page https://samsung-printerdrivers.com/samsung-clx-3185-driver-download/ there aren't any drivers for Mojave. In addition, Samsung has gotten out of the printer business and sold it to HP. Going to their support site did not show anything for Mojave either: Samsung CLX-3185 Color Laser Multifunction Printer series - Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support

Also Apple has stopped updating their supported printer page, Printer and scanner drivers for Mac - Apple Support, because according to them:

"Many vendors of printers and scanners have adopted driverless technologies such as AirPrint, and they are no longer providing drivers for new devices. If your printer was made in the last several years, it probably doesn't require a driver. This list is provided for reference purposes and is no longer being updated."

Wow, reading that thread it looks like Apple really screwed up on printer/scanner support. But it isn't surprising since Apple no longer seems to care about the Mac and its users enough to provide the excellent software they used to.
