Two factor authentication error
macOS High Sierra (10.13.5)
In the first screen shot there is a continue button , click on it .
After that a window appears click the last option , and click on not now and continue the error will go away .
No one is pushing to use 2FA as its personal choice to use secondary authentication , it occurred as I signed out and again signed from iCloud account an error might have occurred due to slow network connections / glitches .
Someone else posted the same basic question and I don't think there is any way to get rid of the notice. Apple is pushing 2 Factor Authentication.
No , I have checked in system preferences - iCloud - account details - it will prompt me to enter apple id and password - under security 2FA is turned as off I can enter in appleid.apple.com using secondary authentication with 3 questions and answers and Apple ID password , that is sure .
Do you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled on your account and you are still getting the error message?
