No big deal, but I am curious. Since iOS12 there is now a light blue horizontal line (about ½" long) beneath the other icons at the top right of the lock screen. It doesn't seem to change. What does it indicate?

It’s new to the iPad in iOS 12, and I think that it matches what is/what was on the newest iPhones the X and later, IIRC.
Aha. I knew how to get to the control center, as you describe, but had no idea that blue line was a clue about how to do it. Thanks.
