cant log in or out of icloud

My icloud account works perfectly on my iPhone but something is wrong when I try to log in or out using my MacBook Air.

When i try to log to iTunes or get account into icloud details or sign out of my icloud account I get a massage saying " there was an error connecting to the ID server ".

Help??

Try quitting System Preferences, restart the computer, and the open System Preferences/iCloud to see if you can sign in.


Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.
