How do I get shared music from my husbands iPhone onto my iPhone?

My husband and I just signed up for family sharing with each other. I would like to get a music playlist from his phone onto my own phone. So far, I cannot find a way to do it.

Greetings, Gtiguy.

I see that you and your husband are using Family Sharing. Now, you'd like to get a music playlist he has to your own iPhone, and I'm happy to help.

Get an Apple Music Family subscription -- Since you posted in "Apple Music for iOS", I'm assuming he subscribes to Apple Music already. If so, he can change his subscription from an Individual subscription to a Family subscription and include you.

Use Home Sharing to share iTunes content with other devices -- If he doesn't subscribe to Apple Music, he can use Home Sharing to share the contents of his iTunes Library.

Share App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books purchases with Family Sharing -- If the music he's placed in a playlist is music he's purchased from the iTunes Store, he can share those purchases and you can access the music this way. You can then create the playlist on your iOS device.

Take care!
